Planning Board Hearing Again Continued

Dear Members and Supporters

The November 17th Planning Board hearing on the FOLQ zoning change articles has been continued. Progress was made on understanding the articles language and their intent to limit the size of residential development in the Lakeside area. However, with other questions regarding possible conflicts with other zoning sections and dimensional requirements, the Board decided to continue the hearing to allow time to resolve these issues and hold their 3rd meeting on the articles on January 12th.

With your significant support, we will continue our efforts with the Planning Board and other possible options as we seek to find a resolution to protecting the lake area in the face of urban-like residential development.
