DESCRIPTION:Save the date! Wednesday\, May 29 at 5:30 pm\nThe Friends of Lake Quannapowitt invite all community members to join us at our Annual Meeting and Presentation at Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham on Wednesday\, May 29th\, 2024. All are welcome. Guests will enjoy dinner and participate in the business meeting\, followed by an educational presentation and discussion. Purchase tickets here. \nWe are thrilled that our educational presentation this year will be from members of the Friends of Horn Pond in Woburn\, who will explain their important work in limiting wildlife injuries and fatalities from left behind shoreline fishing line\, lures and hooks. In addition\, a Wakefield resident and professional wildlife photographer will discuss the changing nature of our local wildlife populations\, including her story of two Bald Eagles she has followed for 8 years in Wakefield. Her poignant\, gorgeous photography will be on display. \nMeeting Agenda: \n\n5:30 Cash Bar/Social Hour\n6:15 Buffet Dinner\n7:00 Business Meeting\n7:15 Presentation by Friends of Horn Pond\n\nThere is no charge if you are only attending the Speaker Presentation at 7:15. \nWe sincerely hope you can join us for an educational and inspirational evening.
