The show is open to local artists of all ages featuring artwork of Lake Quannapowitt and its surrounding natural lands. \nIf you would like to register\, please email mail@folq.org. \nAll types of artists and art are welcome at this free event.\n\nArtists of all ages\, and amateurs and professionals.\nAny media\, including drawing\, painting\, photography\, sculpture\, crafts\, etc.\n\nBasic guidelines for submissions:\n\nOne piece per artist (no larger than 20×30 inches\, weighing no more than 10 lb)\nPiece should be inspired by the show’s theme\nPiece must be dropped off the week before the show and picked up the week after during scheduled times TBD (Show Dates: May 1st and 2nd\, 2026)\nFull details will be provided to all who register\n\nPre-registration has closed for this Art Show but we have a limited number of spaces still available. This free\, family friendly fishing class at Lake Quannapowitt from 5:30 – 7:30 PM will occur before the beginning of that night’s Movie by the Lake. \nAll Ages Welcome\nThis is NOT exclusively a kid’s program. It is a program for people of all ages who want to learn how to fish. Children 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nDetails\n🐟 Thursday\, July 16th\, 5:30 – 7:30 PM\n🐟 Ages 5 years and older\n🐟  Lower Common\, Lake Quannapowitt\n🐟  Pre-registration Required\n🐟  Cost: Free! \nWhat to Expect\nHave you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now’s your chance! Let the MassWildlife Angler Education Program be your guide. We’ll have equipment on hand for use\, as well as terminal tackle\, and live bait. You’ll learn the basics\, from casting out\, to baiting up\, and the best part – you’ll be able to fish. So come try your hand at this great pastime\, guaranteed to catch some fun! \nRegistration has not yet opened.
