Bricks by the Lake is a program that raises funds for improvements in lakeside parklands through personal memorials on engraved bricks by the lakeshore. We host a ceremony to dedicate newly gifted bricks every two years. This year’s ceremony will be held on June 8th at 2:00 PM. All bricks purchases from March 2, 2023 and March 1, 2025 will be included in this year’s dedication ceremony.

Ceremony

The brick dedication ceremony is held in appreciation of the brick donors and will include a reflection on the significance of the bricks and the inscriptions they bear.

Please note that seating will not be provided—guests are invited to bring a lawn chair for their comfort.

Weather

The ceremony will take place if there is minor wind or rain. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be held in Spring 2026. Notice will be posted on the FOLQ Instagram and Facebook pages and the homepage of the FOLQ website.
